Why I Enjoy Reading
Reading is one of my favorite hobbies because it allows me to relax while also learning new things. Whenever I open a book, I feel like I am stepping into a different world. Most of the time I enjoy reading fiction because it lets me explore creative stories and interesting characters. Other times, I read nonfiction books that teach me about real-life topics and help me grow as a person. Reading gives me a quiet moment in my day to slow down and focus.
How Reading Benefits Me
Another reason why I enjoy reading is that it helps me improve my imagination and my vocabulary, which I do so by reading in Portuguese, English and now a little in Spanish. The more I read, the better I become at understanding different writing styles and ideas. It also inspires me in my own studies and creative projects. Whether I am reading at home in my reading corner or outside on a sunny day, books always give me a sense of comfort and inspiration.
